The Common Entrance Exam (CEE) for the Indian Army Recruitment 2021 rally at Jaipur and Jodhpur has been postponed in view of the prevailing Covid-19 situation. The announcement for postponement of the Common Entrance Exam scheduled to be conducted on 30 May 2021 was made by the Defence PRO, Rajasthan.
As per the official statement, the fresh dates for the conduct of the examination will be announced later. The candidates are advised to check newspapers and the official website of the Indian Army, that is, www.joinindianarmy.nic.in for further details and fresh dates.
Earlier, the Common Entrance Exam had been cancelled for the post of Soldier General Duty, Soldier Nursing Assistant, Soldier Technical, Store Keeper Technical, Soldier Clerk, and Soldier Tradesman (All Arms) due to the second wave of Covid-19.
In view of the ongoing Covid-19 situation across the country, the government has either cancelled or postponed several examinations including CBSE, CISCE Board exams, JEE Mains, ICAI CA Exam 2021, and NEET PG Exams 2021.
The country has recorded a total of 4,14,188 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours reporting the highest single-day spike on the second consecutive day. India has witnessed as many as 3,31,507 recoveries and 3,915 Covid related deaths in the last 24 hours.
