Multi-brand women’s fashion events business Marriage Mantra has adapted to the new normal by shifting online with a new venture, multi-brand e-commerce platform, ‘Soho Style’.
Maharashtra lockdown regulations have necessitated Marriage Mantra temporarily put its busy Parineeti and Pink Almari shopping fair events schedule on hold, the business announced on Facebook. To continue its brand partnerships and keep shoppers well-stocked for the upcoming wedding season, the business has decided to continue operations online with an all-new shopping platform accompanied by a rebrand.
“The unprecedented Covid times, left all offline businesses in vain,” Marriage Mantra announced on Facebook. “The natural transition of customer behaviour with growing digitalisation grew immensely. With this change, we made a switch too! With a brand legacy of over 13 years, we endeavour to service our dear customers a rich heritage of Marriage Mantra with an official online switch as Soho Style.”
The new shopping platform announced that it welcoming sellers for product categories including clothing, trousseau, accessories, jewellery, and lifestyle items, the same categories Marriage Mantra has showcased at its shopping fairs. The e-commerce platform will be curated as a permanent shopping fair and designed to give customers the same feeling as when they attended a Marriage Mantra event and, with pan-India distribution, expand to service shoppers across the country.
