Signifying the theme of the Conclave – Physical & Digital Meetings: A Harmonious Blend – the conclave will also be on a hybrid format blending both physical and digital opportunities marking the new world normal. While the physical event will be held at JW Marriott, Aerocity New Delhi with permitted attendees as per the Covid-19 guidelines, through hybrid technology the sessions will be transmitted live from Crowne Plaza, Greater Noida and BIEC, Bangalore to promote these cities as MICE hubs.
The CIC organisers expect about 500 participants including hosted buyers, exhibitors, visitors, students and industry associates to join virtually at the event.
Ori Lahav, President, International Association of Professional Conference Organisers (IAPCO) will deliver the Keynote Address on the Conclave theme on the first day of the conference. The two-day conclave will deliberate on wide ranging issues like strategies for survival and revival of MICE in India; Attendees engagement – How to make MICE events engaging for attendees, Innovative ways of executing MICE in the New Normal; Gender Equality & Sustainability, and Branding India as a MICE destination.
The B2B meetings are arranged on virtual platform for exhibitors and buyers to interact and forge new alliances. “The 13th CIC will be a top notch event. Even the keynote and sessions will be a blend of physical and virtual. Everything will be live and not recorded,” said Amaresh Tiwari, Vice Chairman of ICPB.
The conclave is an effort to kickstart the MICE activities complying with all safety protocols like masks, sanitization, social distancing for a safe and enjoyable experience of the participants. The host hotel, JW Marriott will demonstrate ‘Gastronomical experience in New Normal World’, a theme lunch on the first day of the conclave.
